How many years have you been in business or in this industry?
We've been in business for 45 years.

What makes you the best in your industry while separating yourself from your competitors?
When I think of what separates Holcomb Cabinetry from the rest, a few things come to mind. The most obvious is our showroom. We have a 4,500-square-foot showroom that has close to a dozen full kitchen displays, several bathroom vanities and thousands of product samples. People like to see and touch what they are getting. Our showroom is a great place for them to do just that.

Secondly, is our team. Everyone here has at least 10 years of on-site experience. Our designers all have 30 years of design experience. There isn't much that we collectively haven't seen and worked through.

How does it feel to be recognized among House & Home's Best of Winners?
It always feel good when you get noticed for something you spend such a large part of your life doing. It feels slightly humbling as well. Now that people are noticing the good work, one can feel reinvigorated to make sure the work stays that way.

What keeps you motivated every day to do the work you do?
I really like the people I've met. We spend a lot of time with our clients over the course of a project. You get to know them personally and several clients have become friends. And even just seeing folks out long after the projects has been a wonderful experience I did not know came with this profession.

What do you find most rewarding about this industry?
Again, the people. We meet people from every facet of life. There are some interesting people to say the least. This is probably another benefit that I didn't see coming with this profession.
